Writing Instruments – ‘1812’ Collection

To commemorate the 200th anniversary of Russia’s victory in the Patriotic War of 1812 Gourji issued a new series of exclusive writing instruments – ‘1812’.

This collection is offered in a limited edition of 812 fountain pens and 1000 roller balls made from 925 sterling silver by the craftsmen of Omas, an Italian manufacturer that has been producing superlative writing instruments for over a hundred years.

Engraved on two out of the three facets of this pen are battle scenes that reproduce the original images created by Count Fyodor Petrovich Tolstoy, a renowned master of silhouette art. The silver clip of the cap is fashioned in the shape of a bayonet blade with a little bullet-like ball at the base. Decorating the 18K gold nib is an engraved image of the Lesser Imperial Coat of Arms.

This new Gourji’s ‘1812’ commemorative model demonstrates all the intrinsic qualities of premium class writing instruments.
